Search is on for 2011 Education stars!
The Scottish Education Awards 2011, celebrating the excellent work of pupils, teachers and schools in Scotland, were launched today.
Education Secretary Michael Russell said:
“The Scottish Education Awards are about finding, highlighting and praising the success of staff, pupils, schools and those that work in partnership within the education sector across a number of key areas.
“I want all those within education across Scotland to start thinking about what they’re doing or have seen that others could learn from.
“If you think your school is doing something innovative, exciting or of genuine merit, get online and put it forward for the Scottish Education Awards.”
Winning schools will receive £500 and runners up £250 for their school. Winners of the individual categories will receive £500 for their school.
