Last chance to nominate in the Scottish Education Awards
Do you know an individual or educational establishment that deserves special praise and recognition?
The Scottish Education Awards celebrate the hard work and success which takes place in Scottish education. They recognise the achievements of people who dedicate their lives to children and young people and showcase the valuable work and innovation in Scottish classrooms.
Nominations can be made in 17 categories and are open to publicly funded educational establishments including nurseries, primary, secondary and special needs schools. Teachers, headteachers and education supporters (e.g. janitors, librarians, catering staff and classroom assistants) are eligible for the individual categories.
Three new awards have been launched for 2011 – Partnership for Learning, Literacy Across Learning and Numeracy Across Learning.
Visit the Awards website to find out more and tell us about your stars of Scottish education.
But hurry – nominations will close on Friday 4 March 2011.
