Engage NewsUp to 1,000 young people including care leavers and carers will be helped on the road towards employment thanks to £1.5 million funding announced today.

The funding, announced by Youth Employment Minister Angela Constance during a visit to a Get Ready for Work project in Musselburgh, is part of the £30 million recently announced by the First Minister. It will provide a package of support including financial incentives to employers who recruit 16-24 year olds from disadvantaged backgrounds.
