We appreciate your interest in Engage for Education and welcome constructive discussion and comment.  In order to contribute to the Engage for Education community you will be required to register at www.engageforeducation.org and any personal information supplied as part of this registration process and will be collected, stored and used in accordance with the Engage for Education privacy policy.

By registering you agree to act in accordance with the following:

  • Be considerate and respectful – contributions must be civil and tasteful. Treat all members of the community as you would in person.
  • Avoid becoming involved in flame wars, trolling, personal attacks and repetitive arguments.
  • No disruptive, offensive or abusive behaviour or defamatory, unlawful or objectionable content.
  • No spamming or off-topic material: we don’t allow the submission of the same or very similar contributions many times, and this will be a matter for Engage for Education’s absolute discretion.
  • No advertising, promoting or offering to sell or buy goods or services for any business purposes.
  • Contributions containing languages other than English may be removed.  
  • No posting or transmission of any information, file or software that contains a virus, worm, Trojan horse, corrupted files or any other malicious or destructive code. 
  • No posting or transmission of any message which may identify and contain information about a third party even if that person has given you permission to do so. 
  • No posting or transmission of any message, data, image or program that would violate the property rights of others (including unauthorised copyrighted text, images or programs, confidential proprietary information and trademarks used in an infringing fashion. 
  • No impersonation.  
  • No inappropriate (e.g. vulgar, offensive etc) user names. Engage for Education reserve the right to refuse registration on this basis.   
  • URLs (web site addresses) can only be posted if allowed under any relevant local house rules and engageforeducation.org assumes no responsibility for content outside our site. 
  • Deliberate misuse of the complaints facility is not permitted. If you persist in doing this, action may be taken against your account.  
  • Your account privileges and all blogs, comments and ideas posted are subject to moderation. Moderation information can be found here.
